2015 has been the year of lessons learned for Austin Mahone, who’s opening up all about one of his most famous mentors, Taylor Swift, and what he’s learned from her.
But if there’s one thing Austin hasn’t yet learned how to do, it’s being initiated into Taylor’s famous squad of best friends… but does he have what it takes to make the cut?
The popstar revealed in a recent interview that he officially has his eyes set a certain new girl… or should I say, a new group of girls. He chatted all about his desire to join Taylor Swift’s powerful squad of females, and he’s even got an overwhelming amount of confident about her pending approval saying, “I’m sure she would make room for me.”
And although some might be forgetting the fact that Austin’s alleged ex-girlfriend Camila Cabello of Fifth Harmony is included in Taylor’s inner circle, he may still have a shot considering he’s been receiving career advice from Taylor, saying, QUOTE, “Just watching her show, I’m getting advice just from how she performs. And she’s told me to keep my family close, and always work hard and work towards what I want to accomplish.”
He also jokingly added, “I always have to surround myself with beautiful women. But I just look for someone that can make some great food, someone that is a little shorter than me and someone that loves music as much as I do.”
But the real kicker is when Austin openly admitted that it’s “definitely tough” to date with such a demanding career and a hectic schedule like his, but that he already has the perfect woman in mind, and according to some social media investigation, he may be talking about up-and-coming singer Brie Angellina, who made an appearance in his music video for “Say Somethin’”.
She uploaded a video of herself on Instagram recently singing a cover of Frank Ocean’s “Thinking About You” and Austin quickly responded to that video with a cover of the same song, writing @brieangellina right back at you”.
