The 2015 Kids Choice award nominations were released this morning and you might be shocked by what they all have in common. I’ll give you a hint- Bang Bang! Clevver News has got the scoop.
The Kids have spoken! Nominations for next month’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards were announced this morning and it looks like the ladies are taking the lead!
Ariana Grande leads the ladies with three nominations including 2 of the biggest categories- favorite song of the year, and favorite female singer. Her “Bang Bang” counterparts Jessie J and Nicki Minaj are also nominated.
Nicki is up against Ariana Grande, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, For favorite Female Singer …wow that’s a tough one and…for Best new artist, Jessie J is up against 5SOS, Fifth Harmony, Echosmith, Iggy Azalea, and Meghan Trainor,
And in the Song of the Year category, all six songs are from the ladies! Nominations include
All About that Bass, Bang Bang, Shake It Off, Dark Horse, Fancy , Problem.
Holding it down for the men this year are 5 seconds of summer up for favorite new artist and, One Direction for Favorite Music Group. And while those are some of the music highlights let’s talk TV.
Favroite Kids TV show has some stiff competition Nominations include Austin & Ally, Dog with a Blog, Every Witch Way, Henry Danger, Jessie, AND Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn
Favorite TV actress noms go to Chloe Bennett, Debby Ryan, Laura Marano, Jennifer Morrison, Kaley Cuoco Sweeting, Kira Korasin
Favorite TV Actor is Ross Lynch, Benjamin Flores Jr, Charlie McDermott, Grant Gustin, Jack Griffo, Jim Parsons
And of course, the host this year is Nick Jonas who is nominated for favorite male singer but what we are really excited to find out is which celebrity he slimes first.
