The Teen Choice Awards are on their way and the nominations are here!
The first wave of nominees for the Teen Choice Awards has rolled in we’ve got all the details.
Welcome to Clevver’s Trophy Life where we keep you in the know on all the details and highlights of the goods you won’t want to miss all award show season.
Voting for this year’s Teen Choice Awards opens tomorrow and from the looks of the first wave of the nominees list, the decisions will not be easy.
Some of your favorite celebs nominated this year include Taylor Swift who has three noms so far including Choice Female Hottie, Choice Female Artist, and Choice Song by a Female Artist for Shake it Off.
Our girls Fifth Harmony and Little Mix are also nominated for Choice Female Music Group, 1D and 5 Seconds of Summer are nominated for Choice Music Group AND Choice Group Song, and our friends at Austin and Ally got a nod for Choice TV Show, while Ross Lynch was nominated for Choice TV Actor!
Ansel Elgort, Theo James, Shailene Woodley, and Jennifer Lawrence are all nominated for Choice Movie Actor and Actress in the Action world while Anna Kendrick, Emma Stone, and Rebel Wilson are all nominated for Choice Movie Actress for Comedy. Like I said the decision struggle is going to be real.
More of your favorite music artists are of course also nominated including Ed Sheeran, Nick Jonas, Sam Smith, and Jason Derulo for Choice Male Artist, Ariana, Demi, Selena, Iggy, and Rihanna for Choice Female Artist, and Nicki, Kanye, the Weekend, Drake, and Iggy again for Choice R&B/ Hip Hop artist.
Oh! And some of your favorite shows like Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries and Empire are also nominated because duh.
Ok so we’ve also noticed something a tad bit awkward on this nom list and it has everything to do with the Choice Male Hottie category. One Direction is nominated, and duh no shocker there, but the awkward part id that Zayn Malik is nominated separately! Can you imagine how big that elephant in the room is going to be if 1D wins? Awkward to say the least. The show airs August 16th Live on Fox.
