A villain is making a grand debut on the Vampire Diaries and we've got the full breakdown. IT's hard to believe that TVD writers could possibly create a big bad and scary as Klaus, Silas or even Katherine, but they've done it yet again. The mysterious travelers have played a major role in season 5 and it looks like in this week's episode "Rescue Me," we'll finally be getting to meet their leader -- I give you Markos, who is described via Eonline as a QUOTE "charismatic but imposing leader forma far away land." But the introduction of Markos is not the only plot line to keep your eye on. In fact, TVD co-executive producer Caroline Dries revealed this to me at Paleyfest --

Perhaps Bonnie's connection to the other side is exactly the reseason Markos is making an appearance in Mystic Falls. We also know that he is the reason that the doppelgangers, in this case Elena and Stefan, are consistently drawn to each other. What do you guys think?
