She won’t just be blaring through your speakers this year, because you’ll now officially see Camila Cabello as the new face of L’Oreal. Earlier this year, Camila could be seen as the face of Guess’ Fall 2017 campaign, but more recently she’s officially tacked on another major brand deal.
Camila confirmed the news in an interview with Teen Vogue, when she also shared the promo clip for her new campaign. Take a look:
The campaign comes just before Camila is set to release two new singles off her forthcoming album “The Hurting, The Healing, The Loving.” Just yesterday Camila posted a photo to social media featuring the names of two new singles, “Havana” and “OMG” in a marquee with ‘Camila’, along with ‘Summer ‘17’ graffitied onto the wall.
The poster also shares some exciting news that we can expect a “summer double feature”, which has left fans curious as to whether that means Camila shot two individual music videos for each song, OR if she combined the songs into one music video for a dual short film. No release date has been confirmed, however, we can expect this double feature to drop by the end of summer.
BUT although Camila’s exciting announcement reveals the names of both new singles, this won’t be the first time fans have heard them. Camila recently sang both “Havana” and “OMG” during Chicago’s B96 Summer Bash last month, to which they both have a sexy upbeat R&B/hip-hop sound, so expect the end of summer to be just as hot, if not hotter, than ever before.
But Camila’s singles may not be the only ‘new’ thing she’s set to debut – many fans have also been curious as to whether or not Camila will be dropping her last name as a performer, and only going by Camila, as seen on the movie poster she released yesterday. Only time will tell whether or not Camila will be following in the footsteps of other single-named legends, like Madonna, Cher, Zayn, Prince, you get it.
But right now I want to know what you guys think about Camila’s new brand deal, along with her highly anticipated summer double feature, so share all your thoughts and predictions right down here in the comments, and after that, you can click right over here to see why Selena Gomez’ single “Fetish” may be sabotaged by the music industry.
