Camila Mendes CONFIRMS Relationship With High School Friend Victor Houston

Congrats are in order for Riverdale star Camila Mendes who has snagged herself a new man. It appears Camila tried to keep the relationship lowkey, but fans are way too smart for those cryptic Instagram posts. Camila teased us on Insta in June posting a photo of two mystery men kissing her cheeks. Weeks later, one of those two guys posted some photos for her birthday captioning them, “Baby” and “Happy birthday beautiful.” Well that’s a bit sus. That guy was Victor Houston. Victor has also appeared in various Instagram stories, so cue the relationship rumors. We finally got our answer at Beautycon in LA this weekend. Camila attended alongside her co-star Madelaine Petsch to promote body positivity. However, E! News took the opportunity to also ask Cami about her love life.
When pried a little harder, Camila confirmed she is in fact in a relationship. Just look at how giddy and excited she is.
Camila wouldn’t reveal much about her new flame, but E! News has previously reported that Victor went to a nearby high school in Florida and the two recently reconnected in NYC. Camila confirmed this to US Weekly at Beautycon admitting QUOTE, “We went to neighboring high schools in Florida. It’s going well, yeah. I’m very happy.”
In a Nylon magazine cover story for July, Camila hinted at this new prospect in her life. She told the mag that she is excited to date outside of the industry, “I actually would totally talk about it right now, if I didn't feel like, 'Wait, he might read this.’ It's just, dating people in the industry is tough. I did for a little bit… It's hard when that's your world. You only meet people through work and that can be really tough, because you're not necessarily meeting people that you're similar to. It's just people that you're with because you're working on the same project. I've learned to not do that. Thank god nothing bad has ever happened from those experiences."
