We've visited cat cafes in three different countries - one in Korea, one in Thailand and one in Malaysia. This is going to be our first in Germany. This one is called Pee Pees Katzencafé.

As soon as we walked into Pee Pee's Katzencafe, two very energetic young cats greeted us. As friendly as could be they came over to sniff our bags, clothes and shoes before turning their attention to what was going on outside of the window.

Although it was just the two of them, they certainly gave us enough attention while providing plenty of entertainment as we sipped on tea and ate cake.

It wasn't soon before they started to play with one another tearing around the room and leaping from pole to pole. Soon play turned to fighting. They really went at it for a while - blue versus red. For anyone who has had a young cat as a pet this is certainly normal behavior and it made us laugh.

Not long after they started to settle down a bit for an afternoon nap.

This cafe was quite different from the ones we have visited in Asia. For starters it was quite small and they only had two cats to play with us. Also they didn't have a lot of toys which makes it a little difficult to be interactive with the cats because it is difficult to lure them your way. Overall it was a nice little place to drink some tea and have cake with some cats for company.

The total cost of the cat cafe was 8 Euros that allowed us to get two teas and a slice of cake, which was quite affordable we thought:
