Celebs REACT To Game Of Thrones Season 7 Premiere

Season 7 opened with a shocking twist of Arya finally getting revenge on House Frey for the Red Wedding, and it could not have been more epic. Leslie Jones tweeted of the scene QUOTE, “Don’t f— with the North son!! BEST SEASON OPENING EVER!! SHE WAS SO CALM!! YAAAAS!!”, meanwhile Jennifer Lopez commented QUOTE, “Winter came for house Frey!!!! Yasssssss”.
Another hilarious tweet came from Leslie Jones commenting on the fashion featured on the episode. She shared a screencap of Euron Greyjoy along with the caption QUOTE, “Um he got a pretty snazzy outfit for that time on I mean the cut of the jacket is nice! Where he shop at! "Leather soldiers express"?” Hilarious, and also accurate. He looks more like a British rock star than a Game of Thrones character.
And speaking of British rock stars, many celebs were surprised and excited about Ed Sheeran’s cameo on the show. Chris Kattan joked QUOTE, “Was #EdSheeran singing #ShapeofYou by campfire on #GameofThrones tonight?”, meanwhile Jenna Dewan-Tatum shared her enthusiasm for the singer’s acting debut, simply tweeting QUOTE, “Ed Sheeran is in @GameOfThrones ?!!!”. Yes, Jenna, and we were just as confused and excited as you are when we found out.
Former SNL star Taran Killam joked about how the episode should have ended, tweeting QUOTE, “How the ep should have ended: Danny sits on that throne and says: "Who wants pizza?" - hard cut to black.” Let’s hope they’re just saving that ending for the series finale, because that would be amazing.
Zach Braff probably beat out everyone with his post, though, because he shared a picture of himself sitting on a couch with Jon Snow himself, along with the caption, “We’re already spooning and ready for tonight. #WinterIsHere.” Um, can we get an invite to THAT viewing party for next week?!
