Game of Thrones Season 4 Trailer►►
The season finale for Game of Thrones just went down and we're recapping the top shocking moments!
Obviously, there will be spoilers in this segment if you didn't tune in Sunday night, and yes, I do have to say it... still. As a reminder, this eventful season finale was titled "The Children" and bam, it's one of those Children of the Forest who definitely saves most of the lives of our travelers to the Tree of Life.
The liches rise up out of the snow and want to kill everyone, but once the elvish little girl gets the group into the cave, they're all seemingly safe and Bram discovers from the man who Bran knows as the Three Eyed Raven that he will never again walk, but he will fly...
Up next, and who knows maybe Bran will fly as the lost dragon of Daenerys... well, it was pretty shocking to see that Daenerys had to lock-up two of her dragons after seeing that one of them burnt a local child. So while she's freeing the people, she's restricting her children.
And what about that moment that Cersei gets it on with Jamie -- after telling their dad the truth about the relationship??
Oh and when Arya just lets the Hound die a slow and painful death... I actually found that to be a bit surprising -- even though, yes, he did do terrible things, it actually seemed like they had built a bit of a relationship and he clearly did protect her throughout their journey.
It was also surprising to see Stannis save the day at the Wall. Although Game of Thrones always does an excellent job of reminding us what we need to remember from previous episodes at the top of each new show, so at least, we remembered that Melisandre called it that Stannis needed to win the war up north.
And finally, even if you've read the books, you hopefully were surprised to see Tyrion first strangle his lover, Shae, after finding her in Tywin's bed... and then he used to cross-bow to murder his dad before heading far far away on a boat -- a rescue mission that Jamie set-up for him... before the killings went down.
Wow, what a season finale! What did you fellow Game of Thrones fans think about the end of season-4?? Were you satisfied?? Unfortunately, this means that we've got a bit of a break before new episodes of the show. As a reminder, it looks like Game of Throne season-5 will debut in April 2015, based on the fact that all previous seasons have debuted around this month each year... but we will definitely keep you posted. Just be sure to subscribe to our channel for weekly recaps and Game of Thrones news. And if you want to take a walk down memory lane, go ahead and click here for the recap of the season 4 trailer. I'm Dana Ward and thanks so much for tuning in. Bye!
