Ed Sheeran SINGS In Game Of Thrones Cameo For Season 7 Premiere

In the first episode of season 7, Ed plays a singing soldier from the Lannister army, who Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, comes across in the forest. Before we even see Ed on screen, we recognize his voice as he sings a folk tune with his fellow soldier buddies.
I don’t know if I should be surprised or not, but Ed is totally rocking that armor and fits right into the Game of Thrones aesthetic.
And as much as we were freaking out for Ed, he was just as excited for his appearance on the show. Ed posted a series of pics from set and his living room during the show’s airing on Instagram, including a closeup of himself along with the caption QUOTE, “Throwback to the time I was a Lannister”. Ed also shared a picture from working behind the scenes with the director and Maisie Williams, and it looks like they had a ton of fun filming in the forest together.
Ed also let fans that he was watching the show along with them, sharing a video from his own living room of his friend Benny, who’d never seen the show before, giving his review.
Calling Game of Thrones a “pretty good” show is like calling Ed Sheeran a “pretty good” musician.
In addition to making him and his fans extremely happy, Ed’s cameo naturally got some hilarious Twitter reactions.
One fan joked QUOTE, “Ed Sheeran wearing all that armor to cover up his muppet babies tattoo”, while another tweeted QUOTE, “If Arya kills Ed Sheeran this will be the best Game of Thrones ever”. Gonna have to disagree with you on that one, because the best Game of Thrones ever would involve Ed Sheeran killing Cersei Lannister. But that’s just my opinion.
