Chris Brown Dedicates B-Day Post To Rihanna & Fans Are NOT Happy

Chris Brown dedicates a birthday Instagram post to Rihanna and many fans are PISSED.
To many people, Chris Brown is and always will be CANCELLED.
Rihanna turned 30 today, and without missing a beat her ex Chris Brown took to Instagram to share a happy birthday post for her, posting what appears to be a picture of Riri as a child along with the caption QUOTE, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY @badgalriri”.
While the picture is absolutely adorable, the post didn’t exactly get a flurry of positive replies. You’ll recall that Chris Brown is more than Rihanna’s ex--he was also, at one point, her abuser, as he violently hit her back in 2009 while driving a rented car following a pre-Grammy party. Shocking and disturbing pictures of Rihanna’s bruised and bloodied face made headlines, and Chris was arrested and charged with felony assault and making criminal threats.
He accepted a plea deal which gave him 5 years probation and 6 months community service, in addition to one year of domestic violence counseling. He also had a restraining order to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna for 5 years.
Fans were more than surprised when Chris and Rihanna got back together briefly in 2012, and released a duet called “Nobody’s Business” on Rihanna’s album, Unapologetic.
Well, it seems Chris feels he and Rihanna are way past apologies these days, and he has no shame in sharing a Happy B-day post for his ex. Despite the two reuniting years after the domestic incident, many are NOT okay with his blatant show of affection for Rihanna. One fan commented on Twitter QUOTE, “Chris Brown fans really want us to forgive his woman beating ass. Domestic abuse ISNT a mistake it’s a CONSCIOUS choice. Rihanna going back to him didn’t excuse his behavior as most domestic abuse victims do it continuously. He was cancelled after that & always will be.” Another simply wrote QUOTE, “Chris Brown is that ex that don’t know how to let go.”
Despite the social media backlash, there were still a few fans who supported Chris’s birthday post, with one tweeting QUOTE, “I don't care, Chris Brown wishing Rihanna a happy birthday is cute af. Hate on me all you want”, and other writing QUOTE, “Chris Brown posting Rih & telling her happy bday just made me so happy ☺️ still hope it’s them inna end”. Can’t say many people agree with THAT end game.
