Chris Rock DISSES Selena Gomez Calling Her "Craigslist Beyonce"

We have to remember that Chris Rock is a comedian and often times comedians poke fun at pop culture. And on Tuesday, he reposted a meme that was a picture of Selena Gomez looking beautiful on stage wearing a gold leotard with her hair wind blown, illuminated with back lighting, but with a caption saying– “When you buy your formation tickets on craigslist.” Chris tweeted the meme and co-signed it saying – “This is true.” Now upon merely glancing at the photo, it’s clear where the Beyonce reference came from. The leotard, the hair, the lighting, we get it, but of course Selena also rocks it in her own right. Chris is never one to shy away from throwing a little playful shade, so I doubt there was any malicious intent behind the photo but Selenators were not happy.
Fans immediately assembled on Twitter and shots were fired. One fan wrote - “When nobody will buy your stand up comedy tickets so you come on Twitter to slander someone more successful than you.” Another said - “She isn’t trying to be Beyoncé. It’s an outfit…you’re attacking a 23 year old….this is why Kevin Hart ended you.” But then one user decided to take a jab at Beyonce writing QUOTE - "This is literally so stupid im so pissed! I'd go see Selena over Beyonce anyday.” And that’s when the Beyhive had to get involved. One user set the haters straight saying QUOTE – “Selena can't sing. Don't compare her to beyonce.” Thankfully some users came to the rescue to end the cyber war pointing out that Chris was only making a joke and that people shouldn’t take it personally. Chris caught wind of the war he started and didn’t back down. He retweeted the post again saying – “In case you missed it.”
