Orange is the New Black season 4 is quickly creeping up on us, so to ease the anticipation in the slightest, the all-new trailer has finally been released, buuuut that doesn’t quite mean any of the inmates have.
And we all know that with a brand new season comes brand new roles, much more drama and unfortunately, many unanswered questions…
The inmates are all back behind bars following their five minutes of freedom in the nearby lake that left a major cliff hanger from Season 3, but an unexpectedly dark turn of events has just a few major bombs on us all thanks to the preview for next season, which airs in just over a month. From the two and a half minute trailer, Season 4 will feature many new inmates packing into the prison, but with new inmates also comes new guards…
The new season also sees Piper who is already on many of the inmates’ Bitch List following her underwear business-gone-wrong last season, and not much has changed there…
We also see some of the inmtes getting brand new duties, like Taystee who is seemingly the new office secretary working under Caputo, and Pensatucky, who started from the bottom, now becoming the prison’s preacher of wise words, and to everyone’s shock, a decent friend.
But then we have questions. Lots and lots of questions. As we recall from last season, Alex Vause came face-to-face with Aydin, AKA the drug-smuggling Kubra’s hitman she used to work for, Sophia was still in the SHU, Nicky got taken to another prison, Bennett left Daya and their unborn baby and Stella was escorted to maximum security. Yeah, these cliff hangers are no joke.
However, we’ve gotta give mad props to the new trailer for helping us out with these questions not in the slightest and for leaving us literally hanging on the edge of the cliff for another month or so, because we got literally no answers and even more questions.
(READ KINDA FAST) So we’re only hoping that season four will tell us all the answers we need, like why exactly Piper is in deep shizzz with the inmates, what Alex meant when she asked if Red can “keep a secret”, and what exactly she’s hiding in the greenhouse, like maybe drugs, food, or even a body… when will Sophia get out of the SHU, what’s up with the SWAT team being called in, what is the major beef between Red and the new scary-bearded guard, what is happening with Daya and her baby, where oh where is Nicky and WHY the crap is Suzanne AKA Crazy Eyes in the hospital?!
NETFLIX, PLEASE HELP A SISTA OUT come June 17th for the premiere of Orange is the New Black, Season 4, but in the meantime, I’m gonna go take a chill pill and mentally prepare for the crazy to commence next month AND I want to hear all your thoughts, questions and/or concerns on the new trailer so get to talking right down here in the comments section below.
