Demi lovato is celebrating a MAJOR milestone, and that my friends, is achieving her third year of sobriety.
Congratulations are definitely in order for one of our favorite pop princesses- who we love for always being so open and candid about her journey and struggles with body issues, self-esteem, and drug and alcohol abuse. She became an advocate for girls and guys who struggle with all of the above, and today we’re happy to celebrate her third year sober.
The really don’t care singer took to Instagram with this adorable photo of her and her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama who she credits for HER still being alive saying QUOTE: "I wish I could put into words how grateful I am for this man right here. But my love has grown to a level that words could never possibly express how much this man completes me. ---Does anyone else have the chills? She ended that caption with QUOTE "I really wouldn't be alive today without him. I love you Wilmer."
She also took to her Twitter account to acknowledge and thank her fans that have supported her journey throughout the years.
Lovato will continue her celebration of her sober birthday this Wednesday at her first annual Lovato scholarship benefit in L.A. at the Troubadour. All the ticket sales will be going to the Lovato treatment scholarship, and we are beyond happy for Demis continued road to recovery and happiness!
