Demi has always been very vocal about her past struggles with body image and it wasn’t until Kim Kardashian came onto the scene that she started to appreciate her own curves.
The ‘Confident’ singer opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about the body image struggles she had in the past because she didn’t have any good role models to look up to. Being “thin” was in when she was a young girl and she admitted that the media contributed to her eating disorder. But when the Kardashians became popular, Demi started to realize that her growing body and curves were actually beautiful.
See? The Kardashians are actually doing a lot of good in this world! Demi has since moved on from her struggles and is currently living a happy life with her longtime boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama. The singer gushed about her man on Ellen and even revealed that she loved him when she was a teen! Of course, the two waited until Demi was a legal adult to pursue a relationship and fast forward 6 years later, Dilmer is still happily in love.
Half a decade is a LONG time to be in a relationship and they’ve been rumored to have been engaged for the LONGEST time. So, what does Demi have to say about the engagement rumors??
You heard the lady, Wilmer! Get her a ring and commit already – or don’t. It doesn’t really matter to Demi if her longtime boyfriend puts a ring on it or not because she told Ellen that QUOTE “We’ve been together this long…obviously I’m not going anywhere.” Aw, that’s true love for sure.
