Demi Lovato Helps Friend PROPOSE To Boyfriend Onstage At Her Concert

Demi Lovato helps her pal propose to his boyfriend at her concert in LA!
Demi’s “Tell Me You Love Me” tour has taken on new meaning.
On Friday night at The Forum in LA Demi helped her friend Shane Bitney Crone propose to his boyfriend American Idol Alum Rayvon Owen during her concert. Midway through the show Demi told the audience she needed someone from the audience to help on the next song, and her dancers went to find someone. They brought Rayvon Owen up on stage and Demi revealed that this was actually her friend. Turns out- Rayvon had no idea what was going on and thought he was about to have a twerk session with Demi on stage.
But then Demi asked him, “Who’d you come here with?” Rayvon responded innocently, “I came with my boyfriend Shane.” And when Demi asked where Shane was… he popped up out of the elevator lift in the middle of the stage right in front of them. Rayvon was so shocked, he actually fell over onto the ground. Get your kleenex ready guys, you’re gonna need it.
Love is officially alive and well. If this doesn’t make you want to go watch The Notebook I don’t know what will.
Of course Rayvon said YES and then Demi sang her song “Yes” to them while they sat on stage. Rayvon later told Billboard that Demi was the mastermind behind the proposal details and went the extra mile to make it the perfect night. On Twitter, Rayvon made sure to thank Demi for giving them the happiest night of his life.
If you didn’t know, Demi’s friend Shane is a filmmaker and LGBT rights activist who made the documentary Bridegroom about the difficulties he faced after his partner Tom Bridegroom died in 2011. Tom’s family was not accepting of his sexual orientation and blamed Shane for him being gay. Years later Shane met Rayvon when he appeared in his music video as the love interest. Rayvon is a singer songwriter who came in 4th place on season 14 of American Idol.
