Man, oh man. I don’t know who I feel worst for- Demi or the fans. This past Sunday night minutes before Lovato was due on stage at the O2 Arena in London for her world tour, she posted this note on Instagram canceling the show because of a severe illness and swollen vocal chords. “I write this through tears of frustration and sadness that I have to postpone my concert tonight due to being very, very sick and with swollen vocal cords that were examined by an ENT (dr). If I go on tonight and injure my vocal cords any more I could potentially have to cancel the rest of the tour." We do NOT want that. She added, “I’m so, so sorry to disappoint any of my fans in London that have travelled hours to be here by plane or car and to all of the fans that got these tickets for their birthday or holiday or any other special occasion. It breaks my heart to let you down.” Ugh. This makes my heart hurt. Luckily, she was inundated with supportive messages from her fans. The O2 Arena also released a statement rescheduling her show for Monday June 25th. QUOTE “All tickets will remain valid for the new date." Hopefully, Demi’s throat will be fine by her next show which is right around the corner, as in June 12th in Birmingham in the UK. I used to have swollen vocal chords so bad my ENT made me go on vocal rest for like 6 months. Can you imagine Miriam Isa not being able to talk for 6 months? Me either. It didn’t work. You can’t shut up a Cuban. It’s impossible. Anyway, yall feel sad for Demi? Send her some love in the comments section and send ME some love on my Instagram and Twitter. Your comments are the first thing I read in the morning so I always appreciate your positivity. @Miriam_isa. Also, Swifties were left reeling at a recent Taylor Swift concert. We’ll tell you why but you gotta click here first. I’m Miriam Isa. Happy Monday. Happy Summer. Happy post-Pride. Take care and see yall soon!
