It’s been two years since the internet graced us with Poot Lovato and after Demi expressed her disapproval of the meme, many thought that that was the end of her twin sister. Little did we all know that Poot would make a comeback just a couple of years later in the best way possible.
Late Monday afternoon, Poot made a surprising appearance on – welp, her sister’s Twitter page! Demi tweeted a random gif of Poot without any context whatsoever and the Twittersphere went WILD.
One Twitter user responded directly to the tweet immediately after it was posted and wrote in all caps ‘OMG YOU LET HER OUT.’ Another asked if Demi was gonna feature Poot on her next album. While many were wondering and applauding Demi for finally accepting the meme, others decided to create some brand new ones to celebrate this momentous moment.
103.7 KISS FM in Chattanooga, Tennessee shared a reimagined Beauty and the Beast poster with Poot while a fan created a ‘Poot with a Chance’ poster for the meme.
Demi has yet to explain why she let our girl Poot out, but honestly, we’re just glad to see she’s back.
