Demi Lovato went on a twitter rant and dropped a major bombshell, revealing she’s officially done with social media

Even though the haters are always gonna hate, it seems as if they may have really gotten to Demi Lovato this time, because whatever she read prompted her to completely quit both Twitter and Instagram. It all started with one tweet. Demi wrote QUOTE “Damn I gotta quit sayin shit. Bye Twitter” and then immediately added QUOTE “And insta.” Now of course the internet lost all their chill with fans asking her what happened and many begging her not to leave. Social media without Demi Lovato? That just doesn’t seem possible, considering she’s pretty vocal on the web, but luckily there is one exception. You can still keep up with the latest from Demi by following her on snapchat. Demi tweeted QUOTE “I like snapchat cause I don’t have to see what some of y’all say. Follow me if you want: theddlovato.” Okay, that’s somewhat of a relief, but it really shows that the haters are what caused Demi to say goodbye to her socials.
The biggest question that remains is WHAT did the haters say? The only clue we got was from Demi who continued her rant tweeting QUOTE “That one time I started my own charity providing mental health care for people who can’t afford it and this what y’all talk about.” What “this” refers to remains a mystery. Her Instagram doesn’t provide any further insight either with her last post being a selfie promoting her new skincare line, Devonne. Both her Instagram and Twitter haven’t been updated since she made her announcement.
I guess time will tell what led to Demi’s decision. We know this isn’t the first time she’s shut down the haters online, but did you ever think it would come to this?
