Demi Lovato 'Poot' Meme Makes TIME Magazine's Most Influential Fictional Characters of 2015 List

Poot Lovato, aka Demi Lovato’s fake sister and viral meme, is making headlines once again and I have a feeling Demi won’t be too happy about this.
Even though the pop star was NOT a fan of the viral meme, she should at least be happy for her fake sister, right? Earlier this week Time magazine released their list of 16 Most Influential Fictional Characters of 2015 and ya girl Poot made it onto the list at number 15. TIME gave their explanation for why Poot made it to their list and said QUOTE, ‘This fan-fiction character – based on an unflattering and likely manipulated photo of pop singer Demi Lovato – is undeniably absurd. But she nonetheless became a meme in October, pulling attention from Demi’s new album release and proving how Internet fandom can redefine celebrities’ carefully groomed images.’ Poot was pretty influential during her time on the internet!
Other fictional characters that made it onto the list were Christian Grey from Fifty Shades of Grey, the adorable Minions that basically took over this past summer by having their faces plastered on anything and everything and Cookie Lyon from Empire, who took the number one spot on that list. She’s such an iconic character.
