Did Nicki Minaj DISS Taylor Swift With This Tweet?

Is Nicki Minaj throwing some shade at Taylor Swift after she dropped her “Look What You Made Me Do” song? We have all the details right here.
Excuse me as I rehearse Nicki’s lines for Sundays MTV VMAs (clears throat) Taylor what’s good?
Last night the world was SHOOK when Taylor Swift released her anticipated single “Look What You Made Me Do” and it had many mixed reviews some loving it and some hating it and some still in shock. One celeb who couldn’t wait to weigh in on the new track was Nicki Minaj. Just 40 minutes after the song was released the rapper took to twitter with just five simple words that really sum up how she feels about it…
“Nigga sit down. Be humble.”
Oh the shade. Ok so we don’t know for sure if Nicki is talking about Taylor she could just be referencing Kendrick Lamar’s song humble…but let’s just say I’m willing to put my money on it that it is a dig at Taylor and it wouldn’t be too far fetch either the two have had beef before.
If you recall back in 2015 when Nicki’s music video Anaconda was not nominated at the MTV VMAs she tweeted out “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.”
Which seemed to be a dig at Taylors Bad Blood music video that was filled with her supermodel/ actress friends that are all petty much a size 0… Taylor took Nicki’s complaints as a personal jab and accused the rapper of “pitting women against each other.” Swift’s reaction then prompted a follow-up from Nicki and a discussion about the lack of respect for women of color in the music industry.
Swift later apologized for her privilege and even performed “Bad Blood” alongside Minaj on stage. But Nicki’s recent subliminal tweet may be a sign that not everything is as peachy they made it out to be. Not to mention, the rapper did recently collab with Katy on the rumored diss track “Swish Swish.”
I say all that to say I have a feeling that this Sundays MTV VMAs is going to resurface a lot of feelings! With Taylors music video premiering and Katy Perry hosting the show… there is bound to be some drama. But I want to know what you guys think about Nicki’s tweet… is it directed towards Taylor and if it is do you think Taylor does need to sit down and be humble?
