Two days ago, Nicki went on Twitter to express how she felt after her “Anaconda” video was left out of the Video of the Year category.
In one of her tweets, Nicki wrote QUOTE If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year END QUOTE
When Taylor saw Nicki’s tweet, she thought she was being called out, so she tweeted to Nicki saying QUOTE @NICKIMINAJ I've done nothing but love & support you. It's unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot.. END QUOTE
But, Nicki wrote back to Taylor, saying that she was missing the overall message. Nicki tweeted QUOTE Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn't say a word about u. I love u just as much. But u should speak on this. @taylorswift13 END QUOTE
Now that some time has passed, it seems as though Taylor has realized she misunderstood the situation. Taylor just tweeted QUOTE I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ END QUOTE
Nicki responded to Taylor’s tweet saying QUOTE That means so much Taylor, thank you. @taylorswift13 END QUOTE
When one fan tweeted that they were happy the ladies made up, Nicki tweeted QUOTE I've always loved her. Everyone makes mistakes. She gained so much more respect from me. Let's move on. END QUOTE
We should also mention, Nicki also sent a kiss emoji to Katy Perry, after Katy posted a pretty shady tweet directed at Taylor on Wednesday.
Can’t we just get along ladies? Maybe Taylor, Nicki and Katy should just makeup and perform “Bad Blood” at the VMAs! How epic would that be?
