Ok, so I’m all for my best friends having my back, and of course Taylor’s best friend is no exception to that, but whyyyy?! Why bring an innocent child into the mix?!
We thought we’d seen the last of the ‘Celebrity Takedown of 2016’ the night Kim Kardashian exposed Taylor Swift and Kanye West’s phone call concerning his song “Famous”, but all it’s done since then is cause a whole mess of reputation shattering and possible legal action-taking, while separating much of Hollywood into taking sides… and let me tell you, it is far from being over, my friends.
After a few of Taylor’s loyal squad members, including Selena Gomez, Martha Hunt and even Chloe Grace Moretz tweeted out their opinions, the newest member of the Taylor gang happens to be her childhood best friend Abigail Anderson, you know, the red-head she sings about in her single, “15”, who went off on a series of tweets earlier this week, bringing Kimye’s daughter North West into the mix… yeahhh, she went there.
However, I do have to play Devil’s advocate here, and state that she did have good intentions, and meant no harm while sticking up for her best friend, buuut of course the Twittersphere wasn’t having it, resulting in Abigail deleting what she had written and even death threats. She first started out by sending prayers to North, writing QUOTE, “Lord, hear my prayers. I pray God helps your daughter understand, that despite how many times she’ll hear daddy reference all women as ‘bitches’, she isn’t one.”
She goes on to say QUOTE, “I pray she understands her father actually IS faithful to her mother, despite all the adulterous comments she will hear her father making. I pray that she will understand that ‘adultery and bitches’ are just daddy’s form of art and not to worry because not every man thinks like him. Lastly, I pray for forgiveness. May God forgive you and your wife for doing to others the very things you pray are NEVER done to your daughter.”
After clarifiying that she will always stand up for her best friend, Abigail also clarified the reason why she deleted her tweets, saying, “For the record, I usually delete my tweets once the death threats start rolling in...nothing more or less than that. #MovingOn”
Her followers were then quick to shame her for bringing a child into the feud, which may have been an unnecessary move, but guys, no matter what was being said, death threats have and will never be appropriate!! Where’s the love here?! But now that you’ve heard Abigail’s side of things, it’s your turn to share your thoughts on the matter… did she take it too far or do you see the point that she was making? Get to talking right down here, and please, no hateful comments… And after that, you can go ahead and click right over here to watch a makeup tutorial of Selena’s star-studded Revival tour look.
