Tons of artists showed up to the 2015 Video Music Awards! But, not everyone walked away a winner. Let’s take a look at the celebs that walked away with a moonman.
Taylor Swift dominated the show this year, winning Best Pop Video and Best Female Video for “Blank Space.” Plus, Taylor and Kendrick Lamar won “Video of the Year” for their song “Bad Blood.” Unfortunately, Kendrick wasn’t at the show because he’s on tour in Europe, but Taylor made sure to give him a shout-out during her acceptance speech:
Speaking of Taylor, she actually presented Kanye West with the Video Vanguard Award. Kanye’s accpeptance speech was totally epic, he even announced he’s running for President in 2020! Plus, Kanye also won for “Best Video with a Social Message” for the song he did with Big Sean and John Legend called “One Man Can Change the World.”
Some of the other big winners tonight include: Fall Out Boy, who won “Best Rock Video” for their song “Uma Thurman,” and Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars who won “Best Male Video” for their hit song “Uptown Funk.”
“Best Hip-Hop” video went to Nicki Minaj for her song “Anaconda,” while “Artist to Watch” went to Fetty Wap!
Congrats to all of the celebs that walked away with a moonman! We can’t wait until next year’s show!
