People get tattoos for all sorts of reasons. And listen, I’m a fan of tats, but sometimes when it’s for an ex, they can cause some major regrets.

What’s up guys? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and while many of us regular people know what it feels like to get a tattoo and question the decision later, celebs like Dove Cameron, Justin Bieber, and Ariana Grande aren’t immune to this shameful feeling either.

Some of our favorite stars are guilty of getting tattoos for their exes, with their exes, or even OF their exes. There’s also the whole getting a spontaneous bad tattoo, and even misspelling words in the ink.

Dove Cameron recently revealed that she has a tattoo for her ex-fiance Ryan McCartan, but she doesn’t regret it at all.

Sometimes the meanings can evolve, and you can find new meaning for a tattoo rather than covering it up.
I respect that. But still, I wonder how her new current boyfriend feels about it?
But Dove isn’t the only celeb who has gotten a tattoo for an ex that made her rethink her decision later. Though unlike Dove, many celebs try to cover or change those tattoos.
Like Justin Bieber who has his “ex-girlfriend’s” face tattooed on his wrist.
Alright let’s be honest Justin, that shading isn’t fooling anyone. No matter what you do to the tattoo now, we'll always know it was originally Selena Gomez.

And there you have it kids, that’s why it’s probably never a good idea to get your significant other’s face tattooed on your body, no matter how confident you are in your love.

Speaking of getting tattoos for your ex, Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande may have only been together for a short period of time, but they wasted no time in getting multiple tattoos for each other.
Because I guess that’s what really cements a romance these days...

They literally got too many to even count and most of them have been covered up by now.

But some notable ones were Pete’s Dangerous Woman themed bunny ears, Ariana’s tattoo of Pete’s name on her ring finger, their cloud tattoos, and the matching tattoos commemorating Pete’s late father’s FDNY badge number.

But her tattoos with Pete weren’t the only regretful tattoo our girl Ariana Grande has gotten.

In January, Ari shared a pic of her brand-new palm tattoo that was supposed to say “7 Rings,” but fans were quick to point out that it actually translates to small Japanese barbecue grill.

Ari responded on Twitter saying that she did indeed leave out a letter.

Then she actually tried to get it fixed, but apparently it’s still wrong.

A fan on twitter said quote, “Why... how... now Ariana’s tattoo reads “Japanese BBQ finger””
If I ever get a tattoo, I’m definitely sticking to a language I know fluently.
