Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he has left the Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) coalition, which he helped form last year.
Mahathir said the decision was made after GTA failed to show results during the last general election. It saw 168 GTA candidates - who stood either on the Pejuang or Putra ticket - all losing their deposits.
