Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Friday emphasised that he supports China’s Belt and Road project and that he would be visiting the Republic in April to further discuss the initiative. He also said it was important for the government to maintain and improve bilateral relations with China as it is one of Malaysia’s biggest trading partners.
