Malaysia has expressed full support for China’s Belt and Road development strategy.
In his speech at the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing on Friday, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said everyone would benefit from the ease of travel and communication that it would bring about.
Chinese President Xi Jinping, who mooted the idea of the Belt and Road initiative, opened the forum that was attended by 37 world leaders and 5,000 representatives from more than 150 countries across the globe.
