Drake FORCED To Cancel Tour Dates For This Reason

A handful of Drake’s tour dates are being postponed and the rapper is NOT happy about it at all.
Sadly, Toronto, Philly, and New Jersey, will just have to wait a little longer before they get to see Drake on stage and it’s all because of his darn ankle.
On Wednesday, the rapper told his fans in a blog post that due to doctors’ orders, he has to postpone his Toronto, Philly, and Newark, New Jersey shows on his ongoing Summer Sixteen Tour. Drake explained just how devastated he was to have to do this on his OVO blog.
The rapper wrote QUOTE, “I have done everything to power through my recent ankle injury and leave it all out there on the stage every night. I hate to be told I can’t do something, but under doctor’s orders to allow me time to recuperate, I am being forced to postpone the intense three shows in a row in cities which have only ever shown me unconditional support. I am crushed to even be typing this announcement because I feel like I am letting my fans in these cities down. I only want to give you the best show you deserve, I promise – I will make it up to you. Thank you for understanding and I can’t wait to see you all again with new music and a stronger ankle.”
Hopefully Drake can get back on his feet very, very soon! While some fans are sad over the fact that they’ll have to wait a little longer before they can see their favorite Canadian rapper, others are pissed off that they missed Drake’s secret campus visit in the middle of the night.
The rapper stopped by Drake University in the middle of the night after his show in Des Moines, Iowa and took a trip down Greek row to specifically visit the campus’ Kappa Kappa Gamma chapter, but the sisters were all ASLEEP when Drizzy stopped by!
The thing that makes this whole visit even MORE devastating is that the ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma were actually a part of a huge social media campaign to get Drake to visit their campus and they missed out on meet him. What a bummer!
