The first wave of dates for Taylor Swift’s 2018 stadium tour has officially been announced, and ticket purchases will be available as soon as her 28th birthday.
Talk about one heck of a birthday gift!
Some Mondays are dull, and some feel like they drag on for an entire week, but this Monday might just be the only exception because Taylor Swift just announced her first wave of Reputation Stadium tour dates for 2018, giving us even MORE to look forward to!
The good news was released early this morning via the Taylor Nation Twitter account, with a link to the Ticketmaster site with the message, “WE’LL SEE YOU SOON!” But besides the 27 tour dates already released, it looks like we may soon be getting a second wave of dates considering the fact that the Taylor Nation twitter account revealed that this was just the first round of dates released, and that additional dates in Australia, Europe and New Zealand will be released at a later time.
Taylor’s Reputation Tour will kick off next year on May 8th in Glendale, Arizona, and will continue thorugh most the year, ending in October 6th in Arlington, Texas. Ticket sales will begin on Wednesday, December 13th, and I’m thinking that specific date isn’t a coincidence in the slightest, considering it lands on Taylor’s 28th birthday, so it’s safe to say we’re already counting down the days to get our hands on a pair of tickets. And lest we not forget, Taylor’s 1989 World Tour, which lasted from May to December 2015 and featured dozens of musical guests, ended up being the highest grossing tour of 2015, so it looks like Taylor has some big shoes to fill… her very own shoes, to be exact.
But right now I gotta know your thoughts on the exciting news and if you think the Reputation tour will break the previous 1989 tour’s record, so get to talking down here in the comments, and after that, be sure to click right over here to check out the sexiest lyrics from Reputation. Thanks for hanging out with me here on Clevver News, I’m your host Naz Perez and I’ll see you next time.
