The media may have stirred the pot regarding all those Drake and Taylor Swift relationship rumors, but leave it to Drake himself to add in a subtle dose of truth to the mix.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this newest photo, courtesy of Drake, is really only leaving us with, like, a thousand questions…
Taylor Swift may have a blank space, but is she about to write in Drake’s name? According to many fans, non-fans, and opinionated social media users, the answer lies somewhere between, YEAH RIGHT and DEAR GOD I HOPE NOT. Rumors first hit headlines like a ton of bricks following Drake’s 30th birthday party last week, which Taylor attended with a few friends. As rumors calmed down quickly following his birthday festivities, so did the general public… until last night.
Drake’s 30 million followers were in complete shock when he took to Instagram to share a plethora of photos from his birthday, including this one featuring him and Taylor with their backs turned toward the camera, captioned “Is that velvet?”
Seemingly some sort of inside joke between the two, fans were not at all pleased and many are even going as far to say that this is all one giant publicity stunt, and that the two are laughing off the rumors by adding more fuel.
So whether or not the two really are dating or meeting the parents, as also reported when Taylor allegedly met Drake’s mom, it has been reported by E! News that the two are solely just making music together, saying QUOTE, “The music they have been working on is different,” adding that it is also “very catchy.” So if we had to make a logical assumption here, a possible Taylor/Drake collab would most likely sound something like this…
Ok, maybe not exactly that, but regardless, that boy is most definitely up to somethin’.
