Yes, you guys, it’s actually happening. It’s been six years since we last saw Dylan on our TVs and thank GOD we don’t have to wait another moment longer. Dylan is making his way back into the spotlight and his first project after his hiatus is a pretty big one.
The actor is starring in director Eva Dolezalova’s new movie, Carte Blanche, where he plays a character named Gideon Blake. Dylan will be starring alongside the likes of Suki Waterhouse, Jack Kilmer, Jessica Heller, just to name a few.
Not much is known about Dylan’s role just yet, since the indie film JUST started filming, but the good news is, you can always check out social media for behind-the-scenes pictures to hold you over.
Dylan’s return to acting shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone. He told The New York Daily News back in January that he was basically just waiting for the right role to come along.
Dylan said QUOTE, “I’m interested in roles that are human, that have some sort of empathic quality. A role I would not do: cool jock. That’s not something I’d be interested in doing. Scripts that make characters a two-sentence description, I’m not interested in.”
Well, I for one, can’t wait to see what his new role entails.
