Ellie Goulding New Song 'On My Mind' About Ed Sheeran?

Well Ellie is setting the record straight by saying people can read into how ever they want but its not about anyone one person but others disagree so let the investigation being!
Before we crack open the case lets talk about the song under question. Ellie Goulding just released a brand new single called "On My Mind." With its up tempo flair and catchy lyrics is sure to be the next big pop song but the lyrics that have everyone raising their eyebrows.
First piece of evidence. the lyrics go like this “Thought that you were cute and you could make me jealous/ Pour it down, so I poured it down/ Next thing that I know, I’m in a hotel with you/ You were talking deep like it was mad love to you/ You wanted my heart, but I just liked your tattoos.”
For those that know Ellie's history may be thinking she is talk about this guy, he has red hair and tattoos… perhaps a man named Ed Sheeran. and for those of you who don't lets crack open the case!
Ed wrote a song not too long ago called "Don't" he went strait Taylor Swift on us when he took a pen and paper and wrote down his heartbreak in a song. That song was all about his short term relationship with Goulding. Ed sings about someone who cheated on him with a friend (and that friend was non other than Niall Horan from One Direction) this all went down while all three of them stayed in the same hotel. Talk about drama right!

but this is what Ellie had to say, she told MTV
“I’m sorry to all the people that want it to be about someone — it’s not, it’s like a myth,” Ellie said. "People can read into it however they want. It’s fun to do that, I would do that too.”
“I probably walked into the studio and I was like, ’I have this person on my mind,’ and then another writer is like, ’I have this person on my mind,’ and we kind of formed the song out of all our different experiences, and I’ve never really done that before,” she said. “That’s the beauty of song writing: It doesn’t have rules. It doesn’t have to be about one person or one subject.”
