Ellie Goulding Played Matchmaker For Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris?

It looks like we can officially crown Ellie Goulding “matchmaker of the year” for bringing us our favorite couple of 2015
And yes, of course we’re talking Maxim’s hottest Taylor Swift and her new beau, DJ Calvin Harris.
The couple has been in full effect for some time now, but it just came to light that mutual friend Ellie Goulding is indeed the reason that the two first laid eyes on each other. The Burn singer said QUOTE “I did play matchmaker, that’s true” She continued, “Calvin is a really great mate and he’s so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love.”
And we must note that Ellie was recently spotted as one of the many famous faces in Taylor’s Bad Blood music Video, but where this seems a LITTLE bit weird is that Ellie and Calvin actually know each other from having a dating history of their own!!
But hey… If the two didn’t work out, were able to remain friends, and still on good terms enough to suggest a romantic interest in one of her best friends… AKA TAYLOR SWIFT… I think she must be a pretty stand up chick.
Ellie continued gushing about her newly in love pals by saying QUOTE: “I thought, ‘They’re both really awesome and both really tall. They’ll be brilliant together.’”
And Ellie… That they are! Taylor and Calvin were most recently spotted hanging out at the Spotted Pig last week, in NYC and looking adorbz as per usual!
