Calvin Harris Drops NEW Song "My Way" Dissing Taylor Swift?

With lyrics like ‘you were the one thing in my way,’ how could you NOT think Calvin Harris’ new song is about Taylor Swift?
Leave it to fans and basically everyone to read between the lyrics when it comes to Calvin’s new song. Months after his rough breakup with Taylor Swift, the producer dropped a new song called, ‘My Way,’ and fans couldn’t help but assume his new track is about the one and only Taylor Swift.
Talk about beating your ex-girlfriend, who’s known for writing songs about her exes, to the punch! On the song, the Scottish DJ sings…well, I’ll let you listen and come up with your own conclusion…
Aside from the repeated lyric, ‘You were the one thing in my way,’ the line that goes ‘lie awake, two faced’ could very well be a dig at his ex, considering all the things that happened this past year and *cough Kimye-gate*.
It may sound a little harsh, but trust me, when it comes to scathing songs about exes, worse things have been written. While music lovers alike would LOVE to think the song is a huge diss track towards Taylor, Calvin actually revealed what the song was about after he premiered ‘My Way’ on iHeartRadio.
Calvin explained QUOTE, “[The] song’s kind of about breaking out of a situation that you thought was a good thing. Then, you’re way more comfortable out of it. And it could be anything. It could be a job, or it could be a relationship. I had kind of the idea for the concept for a few years, but I didn’t know how to work out how it sounded.”
Guess this song goes a lot deeper than we all thought.
