As if she needs any more attention called to her lately, Taylor is officially going through breakup No. 2 this year… with her alias songwriting name, that is…
Considering there isn’t much else Taylor Swift has to hide these days, after she and her team revealed that she was, in fact, the lead songwriter on Calvin Harris’ song “This Is What You Came For”, and after being exposed by Kim Kardashian during her phone call with Kanye, Taylor has officially let all the cats out of the bag, dropping her pseudonym name “Nils Sjoberg” from the track.
According to BMI, which is a database that protects licenses for songwriters, what once stated Nils Sjoberg as the co-writer, now lists Taylor Swift, who reportedly changed the name back to her own, where she is listed along with her ex beau.
Calvin confirmed the rumors himself that Taylor, did, in fact, write the song, however that’s not to take all his credit it away for producing the song and writing the music, where he made sure of that during the first of many Twitter outbreaks that occurred over the last week.
So perhaps this could be a sign of revenge following an interview Calvin gave at the time of the release, stating that he didn’t see himself teaming up with Taylor for any possible musical projects in the future, but it is unclear at the moment whether or not this could also be a prelude to a bigger legal war that is brewing, which we hope is NOT the case, but I want to know what you guys think about Taylor rightfully taking credit for writing Calvin’s song. Is she out to get revenge or was it just time the people knew?
