Emma Stone vs. Scarlett Johansson: The battle of the red carpet Oscar fashion, who was best dressed?
Welcome back to Clevver’s Trophy Life where we're bringing you all of the best moments from this year's awards season. And today's news feed is brought to you by XFINITY, the future of awesome.
Emma Stone is always a red carpet favorite because of her fashion risks. Sometimes she stuns and sometimes she is simply stunning. Tonight she did both. Wearing a custom, beaded, chartreuse Elie Saab gown, the red-headed actress did not disappoint. Although the long sleeve gown looked conservative in the front, there is a leg slit and an open back to edge it up! Nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Birdman, Emma walked the red carpet with confidence. Her signature red locks were swept to one side, in old Hollywood waves and she donned an orange lipstick that really popped with her dress .It looks like actress Jennifer Aniston couldn’t get enough of her friend Emma either, as the two were caught hugging and smiling on the carpet.
But Emma has tough competition because actress Scarlett Johansson, showed up at the 87th Academy Awards looking better than ever. Take a look at Scarlett’s emerald green Atelier Versace gown and matching emerald statement necklace and Piaget ear cuff. And while the gown is beautiful, what makes it so jaw-dropping are Scarlett’s signature curves. The 30 year old actress who is presenting at the 87th Academy Awards, wore a pink lip and very edgy hair, slicked back and shaved on the sides. The new mom looked like she was glowing.
