Scarlett Johansson & Lupita Nyong'o Cast In 'The Jungle Book'?

As if a new Jungle Book live-action movie doesn't sound exciting enough, we've got two new glamorous leading ladies who are in the running to star!

After hearing this news, the new Jungle Book adaptation just went from awesome to OMG-Amazeballs! That is because we are hearing today that Avenger's star, Scarlett Johansson and Oscar winner (and People Mags brand new "most beautiful person") Lupita Nyong'o are in talks right now to star in Iron Man director, Jon Favreau's new live action adaption of The Jungle Book. The new film is said to be a mix of both Live-action and CGI, and you might as well go ahead and mark your calenders with a big heart around October 29th, 2015 because you know you are gonna see this movie.

As of yet, there aren't too many details on the plot of Jon Favreau's version of the Jungle Book story, but THR is reporting that Lupita will play (Rocksha)Rakcha, who is the mother wolf that adopts the young "man cub," Mowgli . By the way, we haven't heart yet who will play Mowgli, but of course we will let you know as soon as we know. Also, Scarlett Johannson, who worked with Favreau on Iron Man 2, will apparently be providing the voice of the villain Kaa, who is that nasty python who hypnotizes it's prey before he eats them. Kaa is one of two villains in the film, and the other baddie will be of course the tiger Shere Khan, who will be voiced by Idris Elba.
