Cole Sprouse and Lili are known for giving each other some love to each other on social media, but this is a whole new level.
This all started yesterday when cole jumped on instagram to share the cover photo he shot of Sam Smith for L’uomo Vogue and his caption has all the riverdale fans pulling their hair out, going on a tagging spree. Cole alluded to “the love of his life” and everyone started tagging Lili Reinhart as the supposed target of affection.
Now if you ask me this does seem like a bit of a stretch. The caption reads “Excited to show you guys my cover and story for L’uomo Vogue this month, starring @samsmithworld. PIck up a copy if you see it, I’ll be posting some of the other shots over the next couple days. Keep up. Thanks to the love of my life, the timeless @rushkabergman for styling, and the team over at @avenue_53 for helping. As always, special thanks goes to @glenn_wassall and Helena.”
Now before you ship this couple, neither have confirmed or denied the potential romance, so don’t get too excited.. Yet. Cole has addressed dating rumors however, saying “since the show began, people have wanted Lili and I to be together. Truthfully, it’s very pleasing that people talk about Lili and I in that way because it means that we’re resonating so strongly that people really want that to be true.”
All of this controversy has everyone clamoring to their tv’s for the premiere of riverdale season 2 last night, and it shows, because riverdales ratings have DOUBLED. Some are crediting netflix for the bump in ratings, after all, we do love to binge watch don’t we? It also could be the fact that with Riverdale, no character is really quite what they seem to be on the surface. Another contributing factor is that the networ CW signed a deal with netflix to make all their shows instantly bingeable right after their season is over. So that way, old fans and new fans could discover riverdale together. The last time Netflix bumped a shows ratings was breaking bad, which as we know, also turned out ot be a great show. If you haven’t given riverdale a change, I can speak on behalf of the millions of fans and say: get on it.
