Demi took to Twitter last night and posted a very cryptic and very shady tweet that simply read QUOTE, “Good luck on your blog.” The post instantly threw Twitter into a frenzy, with fans trying to guess who the dig was directed towards.
And to add fuel to the fire, Ruby Rose replied to Demi’s comment with a Mean Girls’ Burn Book gif of Gretchen Weiners saying, “You let it out, honey. Write it in the book”, which all but confirmed that Demi’s tweet was meant to be a diss at someone. But who?!
The one suspect all of Demi’s fans seem to agree on is her former life and sobriety coach, Mike Bayer. By now you’ve heard Demi’s new song “Sober”, in which she admits that she has relapsed after 6 years of sobriety. Well yesterday, Mike took to his instagram to rant about how being an “artist” is not an excuse for bad behavior. He said in the video QUOTE, “I’m here today to explain to you that being an artist and being talented are two different things. To me being an artist is living your authentic life. I believe everyone out there is an artist. I think if somebody uses it as an excuse to be late, or insincere, or rude, or unapologetic, that’s not being an artist, that’s being a jerk. And you shouldn’t stand for that.” While he doesn’t name Demi in the rant, with her “Good luck on your blog” post, it seems pretty clear that Demi believes that Mike’s comments were directed at her.
And for further proof of a feud between Demi and Mike, last month a fan asked Demi what the biggest lesson she’d learned this year was, and she replied QUOTE, “You can’t always trust people who you once thought saved you.” Which may have been about Mike, considering he was her sobriety coach for a long time.
So now that most fans have decided that Mike is the subject of Demi’s shady tweet, many are flooding the comments section of his Instagram video with “Good luck on your blog”, as a sign of solidarity with Demi. And since Demi’s tweet went viral, “Good luck” has even become it’s very own meme.
In other Demi news, it looks like her and Ruby Rose aren’t just Burn Book buddies. The two ladies have been flirting up a storm all over social media lately and fans are loving it. On the 4th of July, Demi liked a ton of Ruby’s photos and commented on one with a series of heart-eye emojis, which Ruby replied back to with “hurry!”. Later, Ruby shared a picture of herself relaxing on a boat and tagged Demi in her crotch area in the picture. There were rumors that Demi and Ruby previously dated during one of her breaks from Wilmer Valderrama, but Demi told Complex that she hadn’t had a relationship with the model. But now that both ladies are single, who KNOWS where all this Instagram and Twitter flirting will lead to.
