Demi Lovato THANKS Friends, Family & Fans for Support After Relapse Reveal

Demi Lovato got pretty dang candid in her newest song, “Sober.” In the emotional ballad, the singer revealed that after six years of sobriety, she had relapsed. She apologized to her family, friends and supporters and said she’s be seeking help again.
On Sunday, Demi performed the song live for the first time during a concert in Lisbon. She posted a clip of the performance on Twitter and captioned it QUOTE: “Tonight I took the stage, a new person with a new life. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. It will never be forgotten.” She was pretty emotional in the clip and even started crying towards the end of the video.
Yesterday, the singer posted another concert clip on her Instagram and thanked her supporters once again. She wrote QUOTE: “To my fans, my family, and my supporters, the ones who never left me, you are my light. I am forever grateful.”
Demi has always been pretty open about her struggles. She’s dealt with addiction, bipolar disorder, self-harm and eating disorders for years and went to rehab when she was just 18.
The singer has really been through it, but this latest song shows just how strong she really is.
