Following the release of Selena’s new song “Fetish,” Demi congratulated Selena via a tweet saying QUOTE – “@selenagomez Loving your new song Fetish, we've come a long way since our Barney days along with a tongue out and heart emoji.”
Selena and Demi grew up in Texas and were co-stars on Barney & Friends together before hitting it big. Their tight friendship was very public during their Disney days but after a few years, they were rumored to have had a falling out for a number of reasons. So you can imagine fans’ excitement upon seeing Demi show love to Selena publicly on twitter. Both of them have been killing it with their careers Demi just released her new song “Sorry Not Sorry” so I guess she figured she’d show Selena some sisterly love.
Naturally, Delena fans expressed their excitement on Twitter. One fan write – “SHOOK. Sorry Not Sorry and Fetish are two anthems making me feel so damn sexy and empowered. Love you guys!!!” Another said – “Delena is alive” followed by – “i love seeing WOMEN showing support to each other.”
We’re still on the look out for Selena’s response, but for all we know, Selena could have texted Demi a thank you privately. That’s what I would have done. Why use twitter to communicate if you know someone personally? But I want to know what you guys think about Demi’s words of support for Selena so let me know in the comment section below, don’t forget to subscribe and then click right over here to watch the latest episode of Get Jacked featuring some hardcore cross fit.
