Selena Gomez’ Mom posted a sweet throwback photo to show support for Demi.
This definitely warmed our hearts.
Countless fans, friends and celebs shared beautiful messages of support for Demi Lovato yesterday. But Mandy Teefey gave us all something to smile about yesterday after the news of Demi Lovato’s apparent overdose. Selena’s mom took to Instagram to post this adorable photo and captioned it saying, “This was exactly 10 yrs ago at S, Sweet 16. @ddlovato we love you. The world is a better place because of these infectious smiles. My heart hurts.”
If you don’t know, Selena & Demi have a lot of history together and I mean a lot. Selena and Demi became friends when they starred on Barney and Friends when they were children. Even though they’ve gone through their ups and downs, they’ve still supported each other throughout the years. When Demi’s Simply Complicated documentary was released on YouTube, Selena wrote Demi a note saying, "This was beautiful. I'm so happy for you. You always continue to be bold and real. I wish more people were like you.” And then in a separate comment she said, “Love you.”
Demi is reportedly stable right now. Demi’s rep told E! News in a statement QUOTE, “Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. Some of the information being reported is incorrect and they respectfully ask for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.”
