Girl Meets World NOT Moving To Netflix For More Seasons

Tonight Girl Meets World officially comes to an end and unfortunately Netflix will not be the knight in shining armor.
We’re not ready to let you go!
After it was announced on January 4th that Disney Channel cancelled the “Boy Meets World “ spinoff, fans were not okay! The show, which was cancelled after only 3 seasons, was definitely a shock to the cast and crew involved including showrunner Michael Jacobs who said, “I don’t think ‘Girl should have been canceled. We signed to do four seasons. I thought we would be able to tell stories through four seasons. That’s the way we set it up. It was going to be a remarkable final year. But I understand, things end.” Of course, just because a show gets cancelled doesn’t mean all hope is lost. Fans immediately started hashtags like, #HuluSaveGMW, #GirlMeetsNetflix, #AmazonSaveGMW, and more. Unfortunately, The Wrap has confirmed that Netflix will not be the one that picks up the show. There’s still other platforms that could pick up the show, but as of now Disney Channel has no comment. The series finale airs tonight on Disney Channel at 6pm and it for sure will give us all the feels. The show’s writers tweeted, “Tonight: Goodbye. The first show, love. This show, friendship. As you meet the world, these will get you through.”
In the final episode, Topanga must make a big decision and we see lots of familiar faces including Mr. Feeny, The Matthews Family, and even Minkus!
