Hailee Steinfeld Releases Lyric Video For "Rock Bottom" Ft. DNCE & DNCE to Perform at KCAs

After weeks of teasing her new collaboration with Joe Jonas’ rock band DNCE, Hailee Steinfeld has just released a lyric video for her single “Rock Bottom”, with a music video to follow.
And you know what they say, two minds are of course better than one because the two successfully tag-teamed her previously solo track and we’re all sorts of lovin’ it!
Ok so the full music video for Hailee Steinfeld and DNCE’s collaboration for “Rock Bottom” isn’t here yet, but to keep us occupied, they’ve released a lyric video to the song, which was previously debuted as one of Hailee’s solo tracks off her previously released Haiz EP. Check it out:
And rather than completely recreating the song, DNCE’s lead singer Joe Jonas and one of Hailee’s long-time pals, took on the second verse of her upbeat anthem, which came together quite nicely. Both Hailee and Joe took to Twitter to share their excitement and to reveal that they just finished wrapping the music video for “Rock Bottom” last night, Hailee writing QUOTE, “JUST WRAPPED THE ROCK BOTTOM MUSIC VIDEO AND ROCK BOTTOM FT DNCE IS ON ITUNES NOW.” So expect even more greatness in the near future.
BUT believe it or not, this new musical venture is not ALL Joe and Hailee have collaborated on. Last year on April Fools Day, the two decided to partake in an innocent prank to all of their followers, when Joe posted a photo of an ultrasound, saying, “So happy to announce @HaileeSteinfeld and I are expecting our first.” It’s a great prank and all, if someone would’ve said “APRIL FOOLS”, which that little detail may have slipped their minds…
Yeah, epic fail, but before I go, I have one more announcement that is NOT an April Fool’s joke. DNCE just announced today that they will be performing their first single “Cake By The Ocean” during the Kids Choice Awards, where the band is also nominated for favorite new artist.
Is it just me or are the KCA’s becoming one heck of a Jonas reunion after Nick hosting last year and now Joe’s band performing this year… but hey, I ain’t complainin!
