Hailee Steinfeld REVEALS New Music Coming Soon & Talks Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner Romance!

Hailee Steinfeld just opened up about new music, setting up Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, and her new show ‘Dickinson’... and there are just too many things to be excited about I can’t handle it.
What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and Hailee Steinfeld just spilled the tea and didn’t hold anything back.
During last night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Hailee was asked to clear up a few rumors.
Let’s start from the top.
Jimmy asked Hailee if she was working on new music, which she actually confirmed!
We all know that her new single Afterlife just dropped and is already killing it, but we’re ready for more.
She’s been hinting at some new songs for a while and us fans have been very patient, but she told Jimmy quote, “I have been working on a lot of new music for a long time and my fans are very aware of that.”
And she also actually revealed when we can expect to hear said new music.
That’s so soon, I am so ready for it whenever you are Hailee. I really do love her music.
And fans are just really ready for a full album from Hailee. We’ve gotten singles, collabs, and even an EP, but I think it’s time we get an album.
One person tweeted saying quote, “it better be an ALBUM. n not just some droplets”
And another said quote, “we want a album, we starving”
But apparently she’s working on it so we can all calm down and I’m willing to be patient, because I’m certain it’ll be worth the wait.
The next rumor Hailee cleared up is whether or not she set up her friends, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner.
This rumor apparently stemmed from a 2018 interview Hailee did with Nova 96.9's Smallzy. In that interview she said quote, “I mean, I will say, I did get that text from Sophie being like, 'So tell me about Joe. And I was like, 'Go for it.'”
So obviously Hailee helped one of our favorite couples ever to get together, but she cleared up whether or not she actually set them up.
But she admitted that she didn’t actually set them up, though now that they’re married she’s fine with people thinking she did!
And I mean, Hailee did play a big role in these two getting together. This is just so normal and relatable. Just a friend asking another friend what they think about a guy they are interested in.
Ugh, I will never get tired of hearing about the way specific ways celebs got together.
And in case you forgot how it all went down, back when Joe and Sophie first connected, he slid into her DMs.
That’s when Sophie asked Hailee what she thought of him. Gotta love a social media connection am I right?
Celebs… they really are just like us! They slide into each other’s DMs and then ask their friends for their opinion.
I suddenly feel a lot better about my life.
Anyway, given that Hailee and Joe had worked together in the past and were also friends she gave Sophie the inside scoop.
She said quote, “She called and said — 'cause she knew that I knew him and sort of asked for my opinion. I gave her the truth. I won't say everything I said to her. But no, I gave her my stamp of approval… And now they're married!”
Sounds like the perfect modern romance, so relatable, I love it.
But now we just want to know what exactly Hailee said to Sophie about Joe. But I guess the world may never know.
On The Tonight Show, Hailee also went on to discuss her new show Dickinson, which comes out on Apple TV’s new streaming platform on November 1st.
Hailee both stars in the series and executive produced it. It was her first time executive producing a project and she loved it.
She said quote, “It’s really incredible to be part of something I do care so much about. … And to just being a part of certain decision making processes and seeing something really come together from the beginning middle to the end.”
Not only did she executive produce and star in the show, but her new song Afterlife is also in the show. So yeah, basically Hailee is killing it.
