There’s no doubt that the engaged celebrities love each other to infinity and beyond.
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are taking a page from Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande‘s book and clearly don’t care that getting matching tattoos isn’t always the best idea for celebrity couples. The stars, who got engaged almost one year ago to the day, showed off new Toy Story-inspired ink that will make your Disney Pixar-loving hearts swoon a bit, even though matching tats are usually taboo.
Tattoo artist Mr. K branded the singer and actress with a classic Buzz Lightyear quote that will connect them together forever.
Joe has the words QUOTE “To infinity” inked on his wrist in delicate cursive and the quote finishes on Sophie’s with the words QUOTE “and beyond.” The artist added a few stars and even a small rocket ship to the tattoos to go along with the theme of Buzz being a Space Ranger.
Mr. K, who works out of the famous Bang Bang Tattoos in New York City, has done work for Joe and Sophie in the past, with the DNCE frontman getting a stunning portrait of his grandfather inked on his bicep back in July and the Game of Thrones star getting a simple letter ‘G’ in honor of her grandpa at the same time.
Back in March, Joe debuted yet another new tattoo of a girl looking over her shoulder. The design is very simple and some people think it’s actually supposed to be a representation of Sophie, as it features a red line and her character is known for having red hair on Game of Thrones. The tattoo sits below a knot Joe got years ago in honor of his family, which could’ve morphed into the meaning of ‘tying the knot,’ which he’ll be doing with Sophie soon.
: I appreciate Joe and Sophie’s dedication to each other and think they’re SO cute together, but couples tattoos are typically not the best idea. But hey -- who knows!
