Avengers Cast Gets MATCHING Tattoos in Honor of Franchise

It goes without saying that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the biggest movie franchises in the world right now, especially because its 19th installment is casually breaking all kinds of box office records. Avengers: Infinity War is one of the biggest crossover events in film history and is the culmination of 10 years of movies.
We honestly don’t remember the last time we have been this excited for a movie and the fact that we’re getting a fourth Avengers movie next year makes it even better. We have seen Tony Stark go from playboy billionaire to a caring and loving hero and Thor has transformed from a selfish god to someone who will do anything for the ones he loves right before our eyes.
We can’t believe that the Marvel Cinematic Universe started 10 years ago with Robert Downey Jr’s first Iron Man and it has been super crazy to see it turn into a franchise that is about to release its 20th movie. The cast has grown super close over the years and with Infinity War acting as the beginning of the end, some of the original Avengers showed their dedication and love by getting matching tattoos.
Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner hit up a tattoo parlor and get the Avengers symbol permanently inked on their bodies. But don’t worry, Chris Evans also joined in the fun and got the same tattoo done in New York City because he’s busy starring in the Broadway show Lobby Hero.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Robert said QUOTE “Five of the original six Avengers got a tattoo. The one who opted out being Mark Ruffalo. It was Johansson’s idea, and she and Evans did it in New York. Then, their New York guy, Josh Lord, who is amazing, flew out to LA, he did me, did Renner, and then we just bullied Hemsworth into doing it, and he got it.”
Thankfully the cast showed off their new ink on Instagram and we have to be honest and say that for some reason we’re getting emotional over it?
We love that this cast not only loves each other but that they love what they do. Now, can it be May 3, 2019 already so we can watch Avengers 4?
