Okay, so Ian and Nikki were spotted hanging out two times this weekend, so let's break down the photos and happenings so we can decide what's up with these stars. I'm saying straight out, my opinion is that they're two friends hanging out, but here's the info so you can be the judge. Okay, so their jog around Los Angeles went down on Saturday... they're even sort of matching in head-to-toe grey -- the matchy-matchy thing is what often happens to couples, just saying... and then the two stars known for playing vampires met up the following day for a little farmers market action. Surprisingly, it's not the sweet head-kiss that Ian is giving Nikki that seems suspicious of the "more than just friends" mark. We all know that this guy is very touchy-feely with friends and colleagues. It's actually the shoulder grab that's going on in this photo -- Nikki is touching Ian as he grabs -- oh, I think it's fresh arugula -- yum! That partnered with the fact that they worked out the day before -- that's probably the best evidence that they could be together. But, hey, I'm personally thinking that he's being a supportive friend, as we all know Nikki is going through a divorce with Paul McDonald. Plus, it's clear that Ian's ex -- Nina Dobrev -- is friends with Nikki. They've socialized at parties, hung out as friends and they even made a little PSA for health insurance together... so it's difficult to believe that Nikki and Ian would be seeing each other romantically, unless Nina gave approval and after dating Ian for almost 3 years, that is just too hard to believe.
