While making at appearance at Nashville’s WalkerStalkerCon over the weekend, Ian said quote: We have decided to do one last season to really do the story justice.
And not only that, another of the show’s stars Kat Graham also recently revealed to Us Weekly that season 8 will be her last season on the hit vampire show. She added: I just hope that whatever I do after, the crew can come with me. If the crew can come with me, then we’ll be good. The crew is going to be the hardest thing to let go, because we are a family.
So guys – I know everyone is upset but I have to point out we still have at least one more year and Ian is clearly very excited about what’s to come on TVD – here’s what he said:
Ian Somerhalder previously told us that QUOTE: "I really want to make sure that we get to go back to the basics," he explained. "What made people fall in love with this story was its characters, not 40 of them, like eight of them, six of them—this core group of actors, of characters that really move you.
Not to get ahead of ourselves here – but could this return to core characters include a cameo from Elena (aka Nina Dobrev) or Tyler (aka Michael Trevino)?
